Road Trip Day 5 Part 2

After going to White Rock and Surrey, we headed back over the border. 

This was still in the White Rock area…LOVE all the trees

These next 2 are right by the border…such a pretty border area!

This is in Blaine, close to where Art + Jenene first lived after they got married

We drove by the house they used to live in and then we went to Semiahmoo Resort where Art used to work.  This was the view on the way there.

You can see White Rock, B.C. from Semiahmoo.  This is another view from the resort.  Can’t imagine those properties are cheap!

We were gone over the kids’ naptimes and Kiera fell asleep, even though she doesn’t usually nap!

We had supper at home and then we went to Boulevard Park with Art, Jenene + Sophia.  It was right along the water and it was SO beautiful!  The kids played a bit, the guys got coffee, the girls got fruity drinks at the coffee shop there and then we went for a walk.

I didn’t edit this one.  I think it’s so cool that the sun ended up as a star with pink dots beside it!

We walked all the way down to the end and back, as the sun set over the mountains + water.

Apartments along the way…they have a SWEET view!

Haley often stuck one leg straight out while she was in the stroller during our trip and she has some of the best facial expressions!

That beautiful walk along the water for me was definitely one of the many highlights of our trip!
